Job Title: Hardware Coordinator
Overview:We are seeking a skilled Hardware Coordinator to manage day-to-day operations across our Data Centres. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring equipment performance, process efficiency, and high-quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate hardware activities including installations, de-installations, moves, changes, and removals of IT, Security, and Networking equipment.
- Monitor, analyse, and improve equipment performance, data centre environments, and procedural compliance.
- Maintain accurate documentation, asset records, site diagrams, and reports while supporting problem/change identification and resolution.
- Liaise with support teams and skill groups, ensuring seamless delivery of hardware coordination activities.
- Provide business and non-business hours support through shared on-call arrangements.
- Recommend and implement efficiency improvements to processes, procedures, and service delivery.
- Hands-on experience in Windows and Linux server administration.
- Experience with networking hardware and cabling standards.
- Experience within data centre facilities and environmental monitoring tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Project, and Word.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and participate in on-call rotations.
