
Financial Administrator Position

This administrative assistant role involves supporting the finance team by managing end-to-end accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing supplier invoices, scheduling payments, reconciling statements, generating customer invoices, following up on outstanding payments, allocating payments, maintaining accurate financial records, performing bank reconciliations, preparing basic financial reports in Excel, and providing administrative support to the finance team as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process supplier invoices and schedule payments
- Reconcile statements and maintain accurate financial records
- Generate customer invoices and follow up on outstanding payments
- Allocate payments and perform bank reconciliations
- Prepare basic financial reports in Excel and provide administrative support to the finance team
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in accounts administration, covering both creditors and debtors, proficiency in MYOB, intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, and reporting), strong attention to detail and accuracy, and excellent organisational and communication skills.
Benefits:
This is a part-time contract role with 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The rate of pay is $35 per hour + super. The successful candidate will also enjoy a dynamic work environment and opportunities for professional growth and development.
