About the Role

Tabcorp is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safer Gambling Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in executing safer gambling business controls across wagering and media.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and Compliance: Ensure that all marketing and promotional materials comply with safer gambling regulations.
  • Self-Exclusion and Customer Monitoring: Process self-exclusion applications, renewals, breaches, and revocations, and conduct customer monitoring to identify potential problem gamblers.
  • Intervention and Escalation: Follow intervention protocols, complete calls to customers identified as potential problem gamblers, and respond to queries from business teams and external stakeholders.
  • Complaint Management: Be the first escalation point for customer and/or regulator complaints, record and resolve complaints in the first instance, and manage complex customer complaints.
Requirements
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Experience working with highly regulated businesses/industries and knowledge of various legislation, including AML/CTF, Safer Gambling, Wagering, and Privacy.
  • Business Acumen: Entry-level experience in risk management, internal audit, compliance, consulting, or process improvement with a medium to large-sized corporate organization.
  • Education and Skills: Relevant tertiary qualifications in a commercial, risk management, or business-related field, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
