The North West Hospital and Health Service is seeking a highly motivated Anaesthetist to join the team at Mount Isa Hospital.
About the RoleThis opportunity enables the candidate to contribute to creating pathways to better health for the North West communities.

The successful candidate will provide anaesthetic services within the North West Hospital and Health Service and develop areas of clinical interest within anaesthesia, ICU, perioperative medicine, pain management, medical education and wellbeing.
- Skills in epidurals for delivery suite and anaesthesia for obstetrics are required
- Scope of Practice in paediatric anaesthesia (5 years or younger) is desirable
- An interest or experience in Intensive Care management of patients and regional anaesthesia and acute and/or chronic pain management are also desired
Mount Isa offers a family-friendly lifestyle with a vibrant city and an outback community feel. The Traditional Owners of the area are the Kalkadoon people.
A permanent role is on offer with job security and flexible hours/roster arrangements negotiable (FIFO available).
