Business Analyst Credit Specialist

We are seeking a driven professional to join our credit team as a Business Analyst Credit Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who possesses strong analytical and communication skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking detailed quantitative assessments, market analysis, and providing debt-related advice on ad-hoc project work.
- Complete periodic credit reviews on clients to ensure timely delivery of high-quality reports.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain financial models, databases, and spreadsheets to support business operations.
- Analyze financial statements and provide borrowing recommendations on new client requests.
- Monitor markets and operating environments to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Establish lending covenants and regularly monitor and report on credit limits.
- Presentation of management reports on a regular and ad-hoc basis to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strong grasp of financial statements, financial ratios, risk assessment, and financial modelling.
- Curious mindset for learning and collaborative spirit.
- Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in research and reporting tools.
- Tertiary qualifications in commerce, economics, business, finance, or related discipline.
- Minimum three to five years' experience in credit, financial analysis, advisory, or project finance-related role.
