Job Title: Instructional Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Instructional Designer to join our team in Sydney Olympic Park. As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing digital learning products that meet the needs of our clients.

About the Role:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess learning needs and develop effective learning solutions.
  • Design and develop engaging digital learning products using various tools and technologies.
  • Prioritize key activities and assessments to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Develop training materials, including guides, eLearning, lesson plans, and manuals.
  • Define and implement mandatory learning programs for employees.
  • Work with subject matter experts to identify job requirements, policies, and tasks for training.
  • Develop engaging content, learning activities, and assessments that meet adult learning principles.
  • Create supporting media for induction and Academy courses.
  • Prepare induction manuals that reflect business changes and workforce diversity.

About You:

  • 5+ years of experience designing online and blended learning in corporate settings.
  • Degree in Instructional/Learning Design, Education, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience leading large learning design projects.
  • Strong communication skills for engaging and influencing stakeholders.
  • Ability to integrate current corporate and adult learning trends.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and application of learning theories.
  • Ability to collaborate with SMEs and project managers, both in person and remotely.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
