Job Title: Retail Sales Leader
Overview of the Role:

We are seeking a results-driven Retail Sales Leader to join our team. As a key member of our retail sales team, you will be responsible for maximizing sales and profitability through effective management of the sales floor, leadership of the sales team, and development of sales strategies.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the MAC product range, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer service.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading by example, motivating and developing the sales team to achieve sales targets, managing store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and maintaining high standards of store presentation.

You will also be responsible for evaluating and resolving customer complaints, refunds, credits, and repairs in a timely and efficient manner.

Additionally, you will provide constructive feedback to the Buying and Marketing Teams on competitors' activities, customer trends, and requests.

You must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and resolve complex problems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead by example and motivate and develop the sales team to achieve sales targets.
  • Manage store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and maintaining high standards of store presentation.
  • Evaluate and resolve customer complaints, refunds, credits, and repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide constructive feedback to the Buying and Marketing Teams on competitors' activities, customer trends, and requests.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working with cosmetics.
  • Experience managing a team, providing training and coaching, as well as performance management.
  • Demonstrable ability to manage competing priorities and resolve complex problems.
  • Sense of urgency and ability to translate it into effective organizational practices and time management.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills sufficient to influence, persuade, and negotiate at all levels within and outside the organization.
