Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Lead to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our engineering and maintenance function, you will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of projects to ensure efficient operation of our manufacturing site.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, with experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving process optimization and technical innovation. You will be able to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies, manage budgets, and allocate resources efficiently.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all aspects of the engineering and maintenance function
  • Develop and implement planned maintenance activities
  • Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery
  • Drive process optimization and technical innovation
  • Manage the capex budget and allocate resources effectively

Requirements:

  • Education:
  • A degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil or related field)
  • Experience:
  • At least 10 years management experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
  • Skills:
  • Excellent experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and root cause analysis
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP
