Key Responsibilities for Maintenance Officer:
- Liaise with stakeholders, including suppliers, subcontractors, local authorities, and homeowners as required.
- Ensure construction integrity and safety management on all sites under your control.
- Oversee, manage, and coordinate the construction workflow of your maintenance projects from start to completion.
- Ensure quality management systems are adhered to and completed to deliver our product to the required standard.
- Respond to emergency calls when required.
- Prioritize work to complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Plan, schedule, and review projects under your control to ensure targets are achieved effectively.
Requirements for the Position:
- Foster a teamwork culture to continually develop performance, skills, and cooperation across the business.
- Ensure open communication channels are developed to maintain good working relations internally and with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Capacity to work independently with minimal direction and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Capacity to maintain a high degree of discretion and exercise sound judgment in dealing with sensitive and confidential matters.
- Exceptional communication, relationship building, and people management skills.
- Excellent client service skills and ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex problems while managing and prioritizing a challenging workload.
- Maintain relevant WH&S certification to support overseeing build operations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant industry-related regulations.
- Knowledge of the residential and/or commercial building/construction process and Australian Building Standards.
- Ability to look at the root cause of problems and develop effective solutions.
- Priority setting and time management.
- Establishes and maintains effective relations with customers and gains their trust and respect.

As a Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for completing general maintenance and repairs on new and existing homes, including carpentry, painting, brickwork repair, guttering and roofing, wall and floor tiling, grouting, plasterboard installation, fixture installation, window and door adjustments, and touch-ups.
We are looking for someone who can work efficiently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. You should also be able to maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
