This role requires a highly motivated and experienced Principal Data and AI Consultant to join our growing Google Cloud Practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying cutting-edge data engineering, AI/ML Ops, and Generative AI solutions on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

The Senior Data Solutions Architect will lead the design, development, and implementation of data engineering solutions on GCP, including data ingestion, processing, storage, compliance, and governance. Additionally, this role will involve designing and implementing AI/ML Ops pipelines, building and deploying Generative AI solutions, and working closely with clients to understand their business needs.

The salary range for this position is approximately AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing data engineering solutions on GCP
  • Developing and deploying AI/ML Ops pipelines
  • Building and deploying Generative AI solutions
  • Collaborating with clients to understand their business needs

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Strong history of experience in data engineering, AI/ML, or a related field
  • Comprehensive understanding of cloud computing principles and technologies, with an emphasis on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Proficiency in at least two programming languages: Python, JavaScript, or Golang
  • Strong understanding of SQL, including database design, querying, and data manipulation
  • Hands-on experience with GCP data services, such as BigQuery, Dataform, Dataflow, and Cloud Storage
  • Experience with AI/ML platforms and frameworks, such as Langchain, TensorFlow, and Vertex AI
