Job Description

The Mid Production Coordinator role involves supporting the production and supervision team in ensuring the smooth running of high-end VFX feature film projects.

This includes coordinating the flow of information and assets between artists and departments, maintaining databases with current element and shot statuses, and coordinating dailies and taking detailed notes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure artists understand their schedule of work and relay information back to the production and supervision team

Requirements
  • Minimum 3+ years production experience on high-end productions
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing timelines
  • Good knowledge of the VFX feature film production pipeline and department functions
  • Experience coordinating and running review sessions (dailies)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience working with databases
  • Knowledge of FTP software
  • Diploma or equivalent education
  • Aptitude for learning new software
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Shotgun software
  • HTML / Wiki skills
  • Knowledge of FileMaker

Contract and Location

2 year contract. The ideal candidate must have the right to work in Australia. For this role, candidates should be available to work from the office at least two days per week in Sydney. If not based in Sydney, relocation will be required to be eligible. We value a hybrid work environment and collaboration in a Sydney office setting.
