Medical Operations Manager

The Medical Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of a state-of-the-art General Practice. This involves ensuring the efficient management of medical services, staff, and facilities.

  • Manage doctors’ schedules to optimize patient flow and minimize wait times.">
  • Lead a team of physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to achieve practice goals.">
  • Develop and implement effective rostering and leave management systems.">
  • Perform end-of-day balancing and Medicare batching/billing tasks accurately and efficiently.">
  • Manage Workcover claims submissions and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.">
  • Design and implement reward and recognition strategies to enhance employee retention.">
  • Establish a positive work culture by leading by example and fostering open communication.">
">Requirements:">
  • ">
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Medical Operations Manager in a GP setting.">
  • Proven competence in Medicare billing and batching/reconciliation.">
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience in guiding teams towards shared goals.">
  • Availability to work full-time (5 days) and flexibility to adapt to changing practice needs.">
  • Previous use of Best Practice Medical Software is highly regarded.">
