About the Role

Lead a team of estimators to deliver accurate and timely cost estimates for construction projects.

Develop detailed cost models from conceptual estimating through to first principles, covering materials, labour, equipment, and overheads using industry-standard tools and first principles pricing.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather accurate pricing and scope data.

Provide guidance and support to junior estimators, fostering capability development within the team.

Maintain and enhance the central estimating database and norms, while staying current with market trends and cost factors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the estimation process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with project goals.
  • Develop cost models, using industry-standard tools and first principles pricing.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather accurate pricing and scope data.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior estimators.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and cost factors.

  • Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and bid documents.
