Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned civil engineer to join our leadership team in Canberra. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of high-profile projects and contribute to the growth and success of our Property and Buildings team.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Australian civil engineering projects, excellent project management skills, and strong client relationship management skills.

You will work closely with talented professionals across various sectors, including Defence and DFAT, to drive future-ready outcomes that benefit clients and communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage ongoing communication and professional relationships with clients;
  • Lead and deliver current civil engineering projects from inception through to construction;
  • Work in a hands-on role with a leadership angle across design management, superintendency, and site surveillance;
  • Delegate and supervise the work of junior engineers;
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Solid industry experience on Australian civil engineering projects in a consulting environment;
  • Well-versed in effectively delivering multiple, concurrent projects ranging in scale and sector;
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant Standards and Codes;
  • Proficiency with 12D and Civil 3D software (desired but not essential);
