Key Role in Operational Supply Chain Services

We are seeking a Supply and Trades Assistant to play a key role in providing operational supply chain services, including inventory management, purchasing, and logistics for our business units.

This exciting opportunity will see you delivering predictable and reliable day-to-day supply chain services, supporting the maintenance of stock levels, and administering Maximo open purchase orders.

  • Deliver seamless day-to-day supply chain services
  • Support maintenance of stock levels and administer Maximo open purchase orders
  • Maintain main warehouse operations and oversee remote store locations
  • Identify and manage supply chain risks
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships

Background Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require a high level of inventory, warehouse, logistics, and purchasing practices. You should also possess strong mechanical knowledge or experience in trades assistance roles.

Additional requirements include:

  • High level of business, financial literacy, and computer knowledge
  • Lead warehouse health and safety activities, drive safety in your workspace
  • Effective communication and persuasion skills
  • Operation of Forklift and other MHE, ability to unload bulky freight
