Membership Services Representative

A membership services representative plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences at our fitness clubs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and bid farewell to all members and guests, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Monitor club access for members and non-members, ensuring seamless entry and exit procedures.
  • Answer inquiries and address member complaints with empathy and professionalism.
  • Understand and effectively communicate the Judgement Free Zone (JFZ) concept to all members and visitors.
  • Respond to phone calls, take messages, and provide support as needed.
  • Conduct club tours, showcasing our facilities and amenities.
  • Sell memberships, complete membership agreements, and update member records accurately.
  • Operate the Point-of-Sale system, collect outstanding balances, and manage accounts efficiently.
  • Arrange appointments for PF hourly sessions, ensuring timely bookings.
  • Maintain the customer service front desk, ensuring it remains well-organized and clutter-free.
  • Make welcome calls to new members, setting them up for success.
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks and adhere to assigned management schedules.
  • Complete thorough walk-throughs of the club, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Assist with general housekeeping, restock locker room essentials, and perform necessary equipment maintenance.
  • Initiate start-of-day and end-of-day procedures, guaranteeing smooth operations.
  • Be available to newer team members for guidance and mentorship.
  • Support monthly Black Card Spa maintenance activities as designated by management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, multitasking when required.
  • Punctuality and organization are essential.
  • Previous customer service experience is advantageous.
  • Certificate 3 in Fitness is preferred.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Working With Children (WWC) certificate or equivalent.
  • National Police Check (NPC) certificate within the past 12 months.
