Therapy Assistant Position

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Therapy Assistant to join our team in delivering high-quality therapy programs to our clients. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are eager to gain hands-on experience in the field of allied health.

About the Role

This casual position involves working with clients under the guidance of qualified Allied Health Professionals, delivering individual and group therapy programs that promote client-centered outcomes. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, receiving regular supervision and mentorship from experienced therapists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver therapy programs to clients under the instruction and guidance of qualified Allied Health Professionals.
  • Further your experience in the fast-growing disability sector while receiving ongoing support from experienced professionals.
  • Work collaboratively with clients and their families to achieve therapy goals.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess:

  • An allied health degree (e.g., SP, OT, DT, PT) or equivalent qualification.
  • A Certificate IV in Allied Health or higher.
  • Current first aid and CPR certification.
  • A valid Queensland Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening clearance.
  • Ability to drive and access a reliable vehicle.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to maintain professional boundaries.
