About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Hospitality Team Leader to oversee the planning, ordering, preparation, and compliance of food service, laundry, and cleaning operations.

This role involves leading, mentoring, and supervising hospitality employees, as well as ensuring food safety documentation is complete and that all work practices meet HACCP requirements.

The successful candidate will have a Certificate IV in Hospitality (or similar) and proven experience in a similar role. They will also possess sound verbal, written, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, order, and prepare all meals and light refreshments to ensure residents enjoy a quality food experience.
  • Monitor IRT cleaning contractor team members to ensure cleaning standards are met.
  • Ensure the management and delivery of hospitality services meets Aged Care Quality Standards and is in line with IRT's policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the recruitment, selection, and orientation of team members in line with IRT's policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Hospitality (or similar).
  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Sound verbal, written, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, negotiating, and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Aged Care Quality and Food Safety Standards.
