Furniture Installation Specialist

The position of Furniture Installation Specialist involves receiving, unloading and installing modular and freestanding furniture. The role requires close collaboration with the Operations Manager to ensure accurate and timely installation of furniture in compliance with manufacturer's specifications.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in loading, unloading and transporting furniture from delivery dockets.
  • Install (assemble) furniture, both modular and freestanding, in compliance with manufacturer's specifications.
  • Identify product lists necessary to complete installations based on plans.
  • Provide fine-tuning of furniture upon completion of installation, including cleaning and levelling.

Qualifications:

  • Able to read and interpret furniture installation drawings accurately.
  • Possesses mechanical ability, knowledge of hand/power tools, good organizational skills, and effective communication skills.

You can expect to work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures, dust and dirt, and occasional weekend shifts. The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to lift/carry heavy items and work at heights.
