The Role
We are seeking a skilled Polishing/2pack Painting professional to join our team at Hagan Furniture & Timberwork' in Toowoomba & Darling Downs QLD. This full-time role will involve applying high-quality finishes to our range of bespoke furniture and timber products.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for finishing by sanding, filling and cleaning
- Apply 2-pack polyurethane coatings and other specialist finishes to achieve a premium quality result
- Liaise with the workshop team to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and safety guidelines
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in polishing and 2-pack painting, ideally within the furniture or timber industry
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to achieve a high-quality finish
- Knowledge of different wood finishing techniques and products
- Good time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
