About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform Engineer and Consultant to join our team at NCS Australia. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and helping our clients achieve their technology goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deploy cloud-based solutions using AWS and Google Cloud Platform
  • Develop and implement infrastructure orchestration tools like SaltStack and Terraform
  • Work with containerisation technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Configure and manage configuration management tools such as Puppet and Chef
  • Use distributed version control systems like Git
  • Implement continuous integration and continuous delivery tools like Argo CD and Jenkins
  • Develop automation scripts using software build and release management workflows
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Requirements
  • Cloud Platforms: In-depth experience with AWS and Google Cloud Platform
  • Infrastructure Orchestration: Proficiency with software-defined infrastructure orchestration tools
  • Containerisation: Experience with immutable architectures and containerisation technologies
  • Configuration Management: Expertise with configuration management tools
  • Version Control: Proficiency in using distributed version control systems
  • Continuous Integration/Deployment: Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools
  • Automation: Familiarity with software build and release management workflows
  • Programming: Proficiency in at least one programming language
  • System Administration: Linux/Unix system administration experience
  • AWS: AWS Architecture or Operations Certification
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and security best practices
