About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Educator to join our team at PCYC Queensland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality education and care to children in a safe and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality education and care to children in a safe and inclusive environment
  • Interact with and effectively supervise children while working as a team to deliver a high-quality education and care service
  • Acknowledge and support the unique strengths, needs, and interests of the whole child
  • Contribute to a supportive culture of safety in line with PCYC Queensland values
Requirements
  • No formal qualifications are required, but a minimum Certificate III qualification in an area relevant to working with children is desirable
  • Experience working within the OSHC or long day care sector is desirable
  • Ability to respond to needs and concerns of children to ensure quality service meets agreed standards
  • Desire to succeed in an amazingly supportive workplace
  • Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate (or able to obtain)
  • Hold a light rigid or medium rigid driver's licence, eligible to obtain an RDA (desirable)
