Park Enforcement Officer

The Town of Victoria Park is seeking highly motivated and suitably experienced individuals to join its Parking and Enforcement team in a casual capacity.
This role represents an opportunity to work in a progressive, change-focused environment with a dynamic future and great culture of respect, collaboration, and teamwork.
As a Park Enforcement Officer, you will work alongside the Town's Information and Parking officers to enforce Council's Local Laws and various legislative requirements relating to animals, litter, and bushfire control.
You will be responsible for enforcing legislation, conducting breach investigations, and making appearances in court when necessary.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Certificate IV in Local Government Regulatory Services or progression towards it.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Dog and cat management experience, including dog attack investigation, impoundments, and issuing infringements.
- Experience in enforcement, including breach investigation, prosecution, and court appearances.
- An ability to effectively work within a team and customer-focused environment.
- Intermediate technology and computer literacy.
- A current 'C' class driver's license.
- A current National Police Certificate.
The benefits of working for the Town of Victoria Park include:
An hourly rate of $36.45 - $40.68 (dependent on experience) plus 25% casual loading and superannuation.
