Delivering Capital and Operational Projects
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned leader with expertise in project management. This role is responsible for overseeing the delivery of major capital and operational projects, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget.
Key responsibilities include leading multidisciplinary teams, managing procurement and contract administration processes, and driving continuous improvement in safety, environmental, and risk management.
A strong background in infrastructure delivery and project management is essential, along with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. You will be responsible for preparing business cases and reports for senior leadership and the Board.
You will also be responsible for developing and managing project schedules, workforce planning, and resource forecasts, ensuring compliance with governance, change control, and reporting standards.
Qualifications required include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Project Management, Diploma in Project Management or equivalent experience, and Project Management certification (e.g. PMI PMP, PRINCE2).
Desirable qualifications include a White Card, Driver's License, Contract Management or WHS qualifications, and Auditing experience.
Experience in construction and infrastructure project delivery, proven leadership in managing large complex programs, strong background in contract negotiation and administration, and skilled in business case development and strategic planning are highly valued.
Skills in exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement, advanced project and program management capabilities, strong commercial acumen and risk management expertise, and ability to lead change and foster high-performing teams are essential.
