Job Description:
You will lead, develop and resource a team of Flight Nurses to ensure safe, kind and effective patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and developing knowledge and skills in aeromedical nursing among your team members.
- Using expert clinical knowledge to lead clinical service delivery and improve patient outcomes.
- Monitoring and reporting key performance indicators related to service delivery and patient experience.
- Investigating incidents and safety concerns, and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintaining financial accountability for the flight nursing budget.
- Recruiting and managing staff to ensure adequate staffing levels.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in leading a healthcare team.
- Outstanding communication, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- A strong understanding of workplace culture and staff development.
- A thorough understanding of cross-cultural diversity.
- A Registered Nurse qualification with at least 5 years of post-registration experience.
