Student Support Specialist Role

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality support services to students, focusing on their academic, personal, and career development.
  • Design and implement programs to enhance student engagement and achievement.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and address any challenges that may arise.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
  • Process student admissions, issue testamurs, and statements of attainment in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Respond to student inquiries and manage issues effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in education, counselling, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in student support services, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Proven expertise in e-skill and AVETMISS systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Experience
  • 1 year of experience as a Student Support Officer would be highly beneficial.
