Salary and Benefits

About the Role

This Senior Project Worker position is a fixed-term, part-time role, offering 30.4 hours per week until February 28th, 2025. Reporting to the Senior Project Officer, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of project planning, development, and implementation. This includes developing project plans, coordinating resources, managing budgets, meeting reporting requirements, and supporting project-related activities.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation, and issues management to engage stakeholders and ensure project deliverables are met.
• Monitor and evaluate all aspects of project implementation, including risk and contingency management, benefits realisation, project impact, and quality measures, to identify and address issues, assess project progress and effectiveness, and achieve project outcomes.
• Provide advice and information to stakeholders on emerging project issues and support project development and delivery in line with established plans, budgets, timeframes, policy objectives, and other project priorities.
• Deliver reports, research, and reviews to inform service improvements, gathering and preparing relevant data about service delivery and community needs to inform needs analysis.

Your Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

• Project management experience, including project planning, development, implementation, and evaluation.
• Ability to coordinate conflicting and complex projects, meeting project milestones, and event management.
• Research, analysis, and problem-solving skills, including data analysis tools.
• Provision of advice and information, including high-level report preparation, plans, budgets, and correspondence.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to write reports and project plans at a high standard.
