Job Opportunity

The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists is seeking a medical practitioner to fill the role of Registrar or Principal House Officer in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Bundaberg Hospital.

Key Responsibilities

As a Registrar or Principal House Officer, you will contribute to providing an effective clinical service to hospital patients in consultation with consultants, visiting specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals.

You will also be expected to support medical education and disseminate knowledge to staff and patients.

The appointment will be for a temporary full-time period of 76 hours per fortnight until a specified date with the possibility of extension.

Requirements

Provide and support clinical services within the department in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications:

  • A medical practitioner in the third or subsequent year of practical experience after eligibility for full registration as a medical practitioner.
  • Experience aligning with teaching hospital programs and clinical education collaboration with a university rural clinical school is preferred.
