Job Title: Laboratory Assistant - Haematology

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Laboratory Assistant to join our team in the field of Haematology.

  • Routine receipting and processing of specimens, including operation and maintenance of analysers.
  • Pre and post-analytical specimen handling, identification and prioritization of urgent specimens, filing and storage of specimens and data entry.
  • Assisting Scientists in the Lab as required, continuous learning of processing requirements of different types of samples for different tests.
About You
  • Specimen processing and data entry experience.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • The ability to cope and thrive in a busy environment.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and work as a team.
  • Understanding the importance of following procedures accurately.
  • A willingness to adhere to departmental and organisational policies and procedures.
