**Job Description**

About the role:

This is a senior clinical position within our Mental Health Liaison Service. The successful candidate will provide timely and relevant mental health information, advice, and support for informed decision-making while balancing individual confidentiality and effective management.

Clinical services will be delivered via video and phone to ensure accessibility and flexibility.

The ideal candidate will have advanced specialist knowledge, experience, and clinical skills in Mental Health Liaison Services. They will also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to practice collaboratively within the interprofessional healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-level, evidence-based clinical services including acute assessment, triage, and referral for children, youth, and adults experiencing mental health crisis or their families/carers following police emergency intervention.
  • Promote safety, security, and personal integrity of individuals and groups through effective case management and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
