Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at NES Fircroft. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects related to water and wastewater infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Development of civil design deliverables and documentation for water and wastewater infrastructure
  • Engineering calculations, hydraulic/surge modeling, detailed design drawings, technical specifications, and reports
  • Scopes of work, coordinating design outputs with drafting services, and effective project management of water projects throughout the lifecycle
  • Liaising with clients and other stakeholders, organizing design inputs from various sub-contractors, and conducting site inspections, audits, and works supervision
Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience in civil engineering with proven ability to lead and manage projects independently
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Construction Induction (White Card)
  • Water and sewerage engineering experience in pump station design, pipeline design, hydraulics/modelling, design management, planning, and feasibility studies
  • Knowledge of relevant local design codes and standards (SEQCode, WSAA, Australia Standards)
  • Experience in Auto CAD, Civils3D, 12D, and Navisworks desirable
