Our facility, located adjacent to Deakin University's Medical School in Waurn Ponds, features contemporary design, cutting-edge medical technology and best practice patient care.
We provide a wide range of inpatient and outpatient medical, surgical and rehabilitation services, as well as exciting career opportunities to doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and support staff.
- Preparing patients for overnight sleep studies
- Overnight monitoring of patients undergoing sleep studies, including CPAP therapy implementation
- Providing patients with CPAP therapy education sessions, including mask fitting
- Preparing, maintaining and calibrating biomedical equipment
- Participating in quality improvement projects
To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate compassion and empathy towards patients. You will also need to be professional, detail-oriented and quick to learn and adapt.
A degree in science or applied science is essential, with majors in biophysics, physiology or biomedical science. You must also be willing to work evening, overnight and weekend shifts.
