We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Genetic Counsellor to provide genetic counselling and education to clients, triage referrals, and organise clinics. They will also identify areas for improvement in the service, educate health professionals and the community, promote the centre, and standardise cancer genetics material across the network and NSW.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide genetic counselling and education to clients and their families.
- Triage referrals and prioritise cases according to clinical urgency.
- Organise and coordinate clinics, including scheduling appointments and managing clinic resources.
- Identify areas for improvement in the service and implement changes to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Educate health professionals and the community on genetic counselling and cancer genetics.
- Promote the centre and its services through various channels.
- Standardise cancer genetics material across the network and NSW.
