We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Genetic Counsellor to join our team in providing genetic counselling and education of clients, triaging of referrals, organisation of clinics, education of health professionals and the community, and promotion of our services.

Job Description:
  • Provide genetic counselling and education to clients, including individuals and families affected by cancer, as well as healthcare professionals.
  • Triage referrals and prioritise cases based on urgency and complexity.
  • Organise and coordinate clinics, including scheduling appointments and communicating with clients and staff.
  • Educate healthcare professionals and the community about genetic counselling and related topics.
  • Promote our services and provide outreach and engagement activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A postgraduate qualification in genetic counselling or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise professional judgement and work independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy and experience with MS Office and other software applications.
