Executive Director of Tax Advisory

This is a challenging and rewarding role in the taxation division. The successful candidate will lead a team, deliver complex tax solutions and ensure excellent client service.
About the Position:- Oversee the preparation and implementation of strategic tax advice, business plans and recommendations tailored to client requirements
- Provide taxation consultancy advice, report writing and conducting research to address client requirements
- Conduct in-depth reviews of complex tax returns (companies, trusts, partnerships, individuals, FBT, BAS) and transfer pricing documentation
- Build, manage and maintain client relationships to ensure exceptional customer experience and satisfaction
- Advocate for the firm, drive business development through networking, thought leadership and identification of cross-divisional client opportunities
- Review tax compliance, transfer pricing and advisory work prepared by junior staff and provide constructive feedback, as well as coaching and mentorship
The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of Australian taxation laws, including income tax, capital gains tax, FBT, GST and Division 7A. You will have proven experience in leading teams, providing guidance to junior staff and interpreting complex tax matters.
You will be proficient in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks and Reckon, as well as the Microsoft Office suite. Your ability to communicate complex ideas simply will be key to your success in this role.
