Job Title: Senior Logistics Officer
About the Role:
The Defence capability acquired from the United States is a key component of our organisation's success. As a high-performing, experienced logistics officer with sound supply chain skills including international procurement, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of this capability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Develop a working knowledge of FMS agreement terms and conditions.
- Adhere to procedures and report basic statistical data with some qualitative analysis.
- Process information into multiple systems and assist our large customer base with their data entry.
Benefits:
- Contribute to a dynamic team responsible for investigating and assessing discrepancies with items acquired from the US.
- Address billing discrepancies to ensure Defence achieves value for money from US agreements.
Others:
- Work closely with contractors, uniform and APS staff to establish effective relationships and ensure reliable and responsive supply chain discrepancy remediation.
- Develop your writing skills to meet Defence standards through assisting with data entry and processing information into multiple systems.
