Quality Assurance Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our organization in Sydney, Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and quantity of incoming and/or outgoing goods through detailed inspection processes. This includes maintaining quality data using relevant software and forms, implementing preventative measures to ensure high-quality outputs, and analyzing and reporting quality issues to internal and external stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Review relevant processes, isolate errors, verify correct processes, and ensure all required quality standards are met at all times.
  • Analyze internal and external errors (including customer complaints) using root cause analysis, then implement preventative measures and optimize quality processes.
  • Create and maintain all relevant documents in accordance with ISO standards.
  • Use co-packing software and other tools; propose new solutions to improve co-packing processes.
  • Deliver and explain various quality control reports as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in quality assurance, preferably in healthcare or regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with GMP, GDP, and other relevant regulatory standards.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Ability to manage CAPA, deviation reports, and change control processes.
  • Skilled in conducting internal audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews.
  • Ensure compliance in storage conditions, including temperature and humidity monitoring.
  • Oversee batch record evaluations and release of relabelled/repackaged products.
  • Manage processes for returned, rejected, or recalled goods.
  • Act as key contact for regulatory authorities and customer audits.
  • Support commercial teams during RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs with quality-related input.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to risk identification and mitigation.
