Lead Dining Room Supervisor Job Opportunity

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Dining Room Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day dining room service, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and leading a high-performing team.

To succeed in this role, you'll need to have a proven track record in food and beverage operations management, with experience in managing high-volume catering services. You should also possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to motivate and coach staff to deliver outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage the day-to-day dining room service, working closely with the Catering Manager.
  • Implement and review service standards to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Assist the Human Resources team in the recruitment and selection of team members.
  • Ensure effectiveness of training, performance evaluations, and counselling of staff for the department.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Food & Beverage operations management.
  • Proven experience in the management of high-volume catering, including bulk meals and banquet or function service.
  • Strong leadership skills and decision-making capability.
  • Polished presentation and communication abilities.
  • Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
  • Valid police check within the last 12 months or willingness to obtain one.
  • Pass a Pre-employment Medical Test, Functional Assessment, and Drug and Alcohol Screen.
