With an expected mine life of 30+ years, it will underpin a long-term iron ore business and provide sustainable benefits to the regional community in which we operate. The operation includes a large open pit mine, complex ore processing and beneficiation plant and significant infrastructure and logistics networks.

We are seeking an experienced and capable **Control Room Supervisor**, responsible for leading the team of Control Room personnel managing the safe and environmentally responsible operations of the Karara Magnetite Concentrator.

This includes, but is not limited to: Crushing, Grinding, Magnetic Separation, Flotation, Thickening, Filtration (concentrate/tailings) via Control Room operations.

This role operates on a **5 days on 2 days off** **and 4 days on 3 days off** day shift roster.

**Key responsibilities;**
- Provide clear direction to Control Room Operators ensuring all work is undertaken in a safe manner ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all involved
- Oversee effective operation of the Control Room on a shift to shift basis
- Ensure consistency in Control Room operation across shifts by following the operational systems and procedures
- Liaise with metallurgy, and the Supervisor Production regarding daily targets and set points
- Ensure Control Room personnel are aware of current communications and production parameters
- Reporting as required
- Work closely with Metallurgists to identify and solve process issues
- Identify and communicate to appropriate personnel any issues or incidents during shift
- Provide direction, mentoring and coaching of Control Room team
- Liaise with Supervisor Production regarding process needs

**Essential requirements;**
- Excellent control logic aptitude and a proven ability to work independent of supervision
- Demonstrated capability for continuous improvement
- Good understanding of mineral processing (Cert III Process Plant, Control/PLC qualifications are desirable)
- Previous experience in a similar role and/or experience in supervision of small teams is beneficial
- WA 'C' Class Drivers Licence
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability using MS Office Applications
- National Police Clearance
- Must have Australian Citizenship or hold a valid visa with permission to work
