We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the setup and deployment of two new data centers in Northern Virginia and Arizona. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Cisco Nexus 9K switches and experience with multisite data center design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Center Setup: Assist with racking, stacking, and validating connections between the two data centers using Cisco Nexus 9K switches.
  • Configuration & Validation: Validate network connectivity and ensure proper labeling. Collaborate with on-site and remote teams to ensure configuration is accurate and meets best practices.
  • Multisite Data Center Design: Configure routing, multicast, spanning tree, and interfaces across both data centers. Leverage Cisco NDFC for provisioning and configuring the network, ensuring seamless connectivity between the two data centers.
  • Networking Protocols: Experience with VXLAN/EVPN, spanning tree, and other complex network protocols are required to ensure optimal operation of the data center.
  • Customer Interaction: Act as a subject matter expert, working directly with the customer to assess existing infrastructure, suggest improvements, and guide the project from start to finish.
  • Autonomous Work: Run the project autonomously with minimal supervision, following the agreed-upon Method of Procedure (MOP) and taking responsibility for the project's success.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Deep Expertise in Cisco Nexus switches (Nexus 9K), VXLAN/EVPN, and NDFC.
  • 5-10 Years of Hands-On Experience with Data Center Design and Implementation, specifically in multisite environments.
  • Experience with Cisco Nexus and configuring them in data center environments.
