Support Worker Job

  • About the Role: We are currently recruiting for Support Workers to join our Supported Independent Living (SIL) teams. As a Support Worker, you will be providing support and assistance to individuals with disabilities to live independently in their own homes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Providing Personal Care: You will assist individuals with daily living tasks such as showering, toileting, and dressing.
  • Assisting with Daily Activities: You will help individuals participate in daily activities such as meal preparation, cleaning, and socializing.
  • Developing Skills: You will work with individuals to develop skills necessary for independent living, such as housekeeping, personal care, and budgeting.
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability): Advantageous but not required.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, sleepovers, and active awake shifts.
  • Computer Skills: Good computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office software.
