Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Underground Mining Operations Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead and manage underground mining operations, ensuring the safe and efficient extraction of minerals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement safe work procedures and promote high safety awareness among team members.
  • Oversee underground mining operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement process changes.
  • Manage production reporting, reconciliation, and evaluation processes to ensure accurate data and informed decision-making.
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A current WA Underground Shift Supervisor Certificate of Competency.
  • A valid WA C-Class Driver's License.
  • Proven expertise in underground development and production within a mechanised hard-rock mining environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
