Tax Manager

Overview of the Role

As a Tax Manager, you will play a critical role in solving complex tax issues and ensuring compliance with all necessary tax legislation. You will work closely with the Accounting team to identify opportunities for process improvements and potential areas of risk.

You will be responsible for facilitating and managing the preparation and review of tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulations. You will also identify and address tax issues across multiple jurisdictions, implementing tax strategies to minimize liabilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong command of international tax matters, excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, and experience working in a collaborative, remote-first environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate and manage the preparation and review of tax returns
  • Identify and address tax issues across multiple jurisdictions
  • Implement tax strategies to minimize liabilities
  • Work closely with the Accounting team to identify opportunities for process improvements
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 6+ years' experience as a Tax Manager or in a senior role within a Big Four public accounting firm
  • Strong experience with international tax and transfer pricing
  • Advanced analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
  • In-depth knowledge of US federal, state, and local tax laws
