Advanced Child Protection Specialist

The department works to create opportunities for Victorians to live a safe, respected and valued life.

This role operates outside normal office hours and requires evening and overnight shift availability with associated penalty rates.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Receiving and assessing reports of alleged abuse and neglect
  • Investigating and developing plans to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children and young people is achieved

Requirements:

  • Ability to effectively engage with families to support change
  • Continual improvement of skills and knowledge to develop professional practice
  • Interest in work-life balance
