Senior Oncology Nurse Manager

The role of a Senior Oncology Nurse Manager involves leading and managing a team of nurses to provide high-quality patient care. Key responsibilities include providing clinical guidance, leadership, and effective communication to ensure a positive and engaged workforce.
As a senior member of the nursing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve patient outcomes and meet the organisation's strategic goals.
Requirements include:
- Registration as a nurse with AHPRA
- Clinical experience in oncology nursing, preferably with 5 years' experience and at least 3 years in a senior management role
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to demonstrate empathy and understanding of patients' needs
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
Desirable qualifications and experience include postgraduate qualifications in healthcare administration or related fields, radiation oncology nursing experience, and a proven track record in leading teams and managing change.
