We seek a results-focused International Recruitment Coordinator with experience in generating and converting international student enrolments through education agents in Southeast Asia and China.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Senior International Recruitment Manager in preparing and implementing student recruitment initiatives for Victoria University Brisbane.
  • Represent VU at international events, recruitment exhibitions, school/university visits, and student interviews to promote lead generation and conversion.
  • Conduct regular conversion activities as directed by the Recruitment Team.
  • Maintain and provide regular/monthly reports on conversion and enrolment numbers.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with education agents, schools, and universities.
  • Manage acquisition costs and measure ROI.
  • Support agent incentives and promotional activities to enhance student recruitment efforts.

Qualifications and Experience:

Appropriate qualification or experience at Bachelor Level suitable for relevant sales experience and/or education/training.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience working as International Recruitment Manager/Sales.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Higher Education sector and student recruitment landscape, particularly in Southeast Asia and/or Greater China region.
  • Drive, motivation, and attention to detail in ensuring all sales opportunities are captured and explored.
  • Proven success in sales ability and full knowledge of the sales process.
  • A working knowledge of the regulatory environment specific to international education.
  • Confident negotiator and ability to 'close the deal.'
  • Positive and determined approach to researching and analysing new business opportunities.
  • Ability to cope with competing demands and prioritise tasks.
  • Strong communication skills and excellent organisational/time management skills.
  • Fluent in a second language; preferably Mandarin.
