Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Actions Specialist to join our non-custody 'Corporate Actions Services' Operations team in Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and process Corporate Action events, including dividends, income, distributions, reconstructions, buybacks, share splits, and rights, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Update administration systems relating to investment trades, corporate actions, international corporate actions, income receipts, and cash movements.
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve corporate action issues, with a focus on time-critical and complex issues, and manage custodian deadlines.
  • Liaise with Brokers, Clearing and Settlement Participants, and reconcile cash records, positions, and transactions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a related financial services position.
  • Experience with Corporate Action processing and knowledge of Australian securities.
  • Knowledge of Administration of Portfolio rebalances in IPS, IRESS products and services, and Compliance monitoring framework (IPS).
  • Strong communication skills and experience in IRESS IPS, MS Excel (Intermediate/advanced skills), and domestic and international trading execution and settlement.
