">- Job Description: Our Child Development Assessment Service (CDAS) is offering a temporary full-time or part-time role. The Child and Family Health Team is offering a temporary part-time opportunity until further notice.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing specialist psychological and psychosocial assessment, diagnosis, interventions, and consultation services to address the needs of consumers with complex mental health problems and disorders.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialist psychological and psychosocial assessment, diagnosis, interventions, and consultation to address the needs of consumers with complex mental health problems and disorders.
- Participate in the evaluation of clinical outcomes of services and assist in the development and provision of education and training programs.
- Supervise Psychologists and other disciplines working within the LHD according to organisational needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Full registration as a Psychologist with the relevant Australian registering authority.
- Completion of an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council accredited postgraduate Clinical Psychology qualification of no less than two years full time duration or recognised equivalent.
- Demonstrated competence in a wide range of psychological assessments and evidence-based psychological treatments delivered on an individual and/or group basis.
- Demonstrated experience working independently in the provision of patient/consumer-focused care.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the quality improvement process for service development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to accomplish service goals and improved patient and/or consumer care and outcomes.
- Demonstrated high-level verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit the target audience.
- Applicants must possess a current driver's license.
