About the Role:

  • This position is responsible for providing high-quality care to clients and their family/carers, ensuring evidence-based interventions and optimal health outcomes.
  • The successful candidate will work with young people who have alcohol or other substance misuse issues, providing assessment, counseling, and case management services.
  • They will also contribute to outreach programs in the local community and develop youth-focused health education initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and group-based counseling services to young people.
  • Assess and manage client needs, developing and implementing treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • Current registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) or equivalent.
  • Valid NSW driver's license.
