Location - Brisbane, Eight Mile Plains - Onsite

This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced leader to join our Supply Chain team as a Warehouse Manager. Reporting directly to the Distribution Manager, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team in achieving departmental goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Distribution Manager to develop staff through coaching and mentoring to achieve the best outcomes for both the organisation and employees.
  • Ensure efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of all finished goods and materials.
  • Assist in annual stocktaking and provide regular reports on stock movements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the Australia delivery centre to ensure efficient processes.
  • Interface with internal and external customers in a professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other distribution leads to coordinate team member schedules and balance workloads.
  • Responsible for performance reviews and wage adjustments for team members.
  • Participate in day-to-day operations including picking orders, scanning orders and packing orders.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a comparable background.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience is essential.
  • 2-5 years previous warehouse experience is required.
  • Experience working within a highly regulated environment is highly regarded.
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred.
  • Experience with forklifts is desirable.
  • Good concentration, attention to detail and accuracy are required.
  • Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy items up to 10kg is essential.
  • Excellent time management, planning and organisation skills are essential.
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills are required to interact effectively in a small team.
